Shelli Lara • Vice President, Taft-Hartley Strategy

Shelli Lara has more than 15 years of health care experience. She has developed and led strategies that resulted in year-over-year reductions in bed days and total health care spending, and is proficient at providing solutions that increase quality of care while reducing costs. Prior to joining American Health, Shelli managed a $300 million Taft Hartley health fund and had a strong track record of cost reduction and program development. As Vice President, Taft-Hartley Strategy at American Health, Shelli applies this industry expertise to develop and support effective medical management programs that meet the needs of Taft-Hartley plans and their members.
