Ivan S. Gilbert, MD - Chairman Emeritus

Dr. Gilbert’s professional experiences reflect his entrepreneurial spirit and strong medical background. As a licensed physician with expertise in Hospice and Geriatric Medicine, Gilbert developed a keen sense for successful business endeavors, which resulted in successfully taking four companies public. In addition to business associations with organizations such as the Ohio Retail Merchants, Columbus Presidents Organization and the Ohio Student Loan Organization, Gilbert holds board positions with community organizations such at the Ohio State University, Varsity O Club, Columbus Historical Society and American Federation for Aging Research.

Michael J. Reidelbach, MBA - President and CEO

Reidelbach, with his diverse business, marketing and engineering experiences, is a pivotal force behind American Health’s 6400% growth. Reidelbach launched his career in 1969 at Corning Glass Works, where he worked his way through the ranks to become Director of New Product Development. In this capacity he formed a foundation for market research and product development that resulted in successful product launches in the consumer marketplace. Reidelbach’s more recent business undertakings include: President of MJR Enterprises Inc., a business consulting firm; President of Progressive Health Management, a medical cost management company; and President of Retail Planning Associates, an international retail design and consulting firm. As President of American Health since 1993, Reidelbach has been the driving force leading to American Health’s positioning as a leader in the medical management industry.

William R. Wilkin, CPA, MBA - Chief Financial Officer

Wilkin launched his professional career with a 10-year stint as Vice President of Finance and Administration for JE Hanger. Beginning in 1981, Wilkin was responsible for treasury, controllership and administrative functions. Included in his array of responsibilities were short- and long-term cash management, capital budgeting, capital structuring, acquisition analysis and banking relationships. Prior to joining the senior management team at American Health, Wilkin tenured as Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer with BellPointe, Inc, a Westerville, Ohio-based company. Wilkin handled finance accounting and distribution activities. As Vice President of Finance for American Health, Wilkin is charged with short- and long-range planning and projections.

Roland Griggs, M.D., M.P.H. - Medical Director

Dr. Griggs has been the Company’s Medical Director since its inception. He is an active Family Practice Physician and has more than ten years of service in medical managed care environment. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and a Medical Degree and Masters Degree in Hospital & Health Services Administration from The Ohio State University. Griggs holds a managed care accreditation from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc. and is also a licensed physician in numerous states.

Dianne Oldach - Senior Vice President, Operations

Oldach has over 20 years of diverse experience in the managed care industry. Prior to joining American Health, Oldach was Vice President of National Operations at PHCS/MultiPlan, where she managed a staff of 120 employees in corporate and regional offices, serving over two million lives. Oldach has also held positions in product management and development and has over ten years of clinical experience. In her role as Vice President of field operations, Oldach provides AHH leadership and direction for the Operations department, with primary focus on managing the company’s eighteen onsite offices across the country.

Sally-Ann Polson - Senior Vice President, Sales

Polson's initial foray into health care set the stage for an exciting and varied career. As Health Administrator and Educator with the Peace Corps in Gambia, West Africa, Polson developed a Primary Health Care System for a 50-village area that was recognized by the World Health Organization as a "model" primary health system. Upon returning to the United States, Polson held sales and marketing management positions with American Red Cross, National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and INOVA Health Services. During her tenure with INOVA, Polson was charged with marketing and selling corporate health promotion programs. In 1989, Polson transitioned to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Polson eventually became President for Health Cost Consultants, a national medical management firm providing software and medical management services to TPAs, self-insured employer groups and health and welfare funds. As Senior Vice President of Sales, Polson applies her broad-base clinical, technical and business acumen to lead American Health’s sales force. She is charged with broadening American Health's client base and selling American Health’s extensive range of medical management products.

Larry Pliskin, Esq. - Vice President, Legal and Compliance

Pliskin brings to American Health nearly 15 years of experience in the fields of health care law and business. Among the positions Pliskin has held since receiving his law degree from the Boston University School of Law are that of Health Care Associate with Bricker & Eckler, LLP, a law firm in Columbus, Ohio and Compliance Officer and In-House Legal Counsel for Express-Med, Inc., a mail-order medical supply company located in New Albany, Ohio. As American Health’s Vice President of Legal and Compliance, Pliskin oversees American Health’s continued compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including state licensure rules, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) benefit claims procedures and provisions of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Pliskin also coordinates contract negotiations, drafting and renewals and is a leading member of American Health’s Total Quality Management (TQM) team.

Brent Myers - Vice President, Human Resources and Facility Services

Myers is a Human Resources professional with more than 15 years of experience. Myers was most recently employed as the Manager, Human Resources for Ranco North American, a subsidiary of Invensys, PLC. He has also held senior management and corporate management positions with Resinoid Engineering Corporation and Metal Forge Company, a unit of SPX Corporation. He brings to American Health a level of human resource knowledge and discipline from his past experiences that is necessary for a fast growing, multi-location organization. Myers received his B.S. in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, where he majored in Health Care Administration.

Jan Marie Reed - Vice President, Client Services and Marketing

Reed blends her operations, sales, and marketing experience with a passion for health care as she leads American Health’s Client Service and Marketing departments. Prior to joining American Health, Reed was Director of Sales and Marketing for OhioHealth Group. She has held positions at Intracorp, Advance PCS/CareMark, and American Benefit Plan Administrators. Her work with state governments and extensive experience in all facets of self-funding help her guide AHH’s increased focus on providing integrated health solutions. As Vice President of Client Services and Marketing, Reed’s focus is always customer first. Her role includes strengthening client relations and communication and ensuring customer satisfaction. Reed represents the customer in all discussions of product development and improvement.

Cynthia J. Hom - Vice President, Sales

Hom’s 20-plus years of clinical and managed care experience are of tremendous value to American Health. Her clinical experience began in 1980 and includes Pediatric and Neonatal ICU positions at Boston Children's Hospital and Mass General Hospital. Her medical management career began in 1986 at Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts. Spanning 10 years at PHCS, Hom held positions in Medical Management, National Account Management, as UM Implementation Manager, and as National Product Manager for Utilization Management. While working for CORE Inc., a National Disability Management firm, Hom was instrumental in selling, implementing and managing health and short-term disability programs for several large national organizations, including Motorola, the Commonwealth of Virginia and Lockheed Martin. In April 2001, Hom was hired as Vice President of Sales for American Health. She markets American Health’s broad range of medical management products and provides health care solutions to clients throughout the Northern United States.

Ronald Vrlicak - Vice President, Sales

Vrlicak has more than 20 years of experience within the health care industry, many of which found him taking a sales leadership role. Most recently, Vrlicak served as the Vice President of Sales for Fiserv Health – Benefit Planners, located in San Antonio, Texas. He also served as Sales Director for Script Care LTD, and Senior Vice President of Life Re-Insurance Company. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University, where he majored in Education. In his role as Vice President of Sales for American Health, Vrlicak leverages his sales and health care expertise to expand American Health’s market share in the Midwest and south central United States, while supporting existing clients in those areas.

Richard Hodsdon - Vice President, Sales

Hodsdon has 25 years of health care industry experience and most recently held a position at HHS Health Options as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with additional responsibility for Program Development, Strategic Planning, and corporate metrics. Hodsdon holds a Bachelor’s degree with duel majors in Business and Health Care Administration from Davenport University of Business. As Vice President of Sales for American Health, Hodsdon applies his expertise in the areas of disease management, predictive modeling, and wellness programs to provide customized, integrated healthcare solutions for clients in the North Central and Southeastern regions of the United States.

James Williams - Vice President, Information Technology

Williams has more than 20 years of experience in technology fields, consulting and technical management positions. He previously applied his expertise to the insurance, banking and eCommerce industries, working for nationally-recognized companies such as Nationwide Insurance, Bank One (now JPMorgan Chase) and Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of SBC Communications, Inc. Williams also held an adjunct faculty position at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, where he instructed students in the Computer Science department. In 2002, he began his tenure at American Health as a consultant, and was instrumental in the building and implementation of American Health’s proprietary i-Suite software system. He then accepted the position of Director of Application Development in 2003. In his current role as Vice President of Information Technology, Williams is responsible for overseeing software development and client support services, and maintaining the technical infrastructure at American Health’s Corporate headquarters and its numerous satellite offices across the country.

Dennis Bryant - Assistant Vice President, Business Integration

Bryant has more than 20 years of experience in customer service, technology fields, consulting and technical management positions. He previously applied his expertise to the insurance, manufacturing, global consulting and eCommerce industries, working with nationally-recognized companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Philips Electronics and Atos-Origin. In 2002, he began his tenure at American Health as a consultant, and was instrumental in building and implementing American Health’s proprietary i-Suite software system. In 2005 he accepted the position of Director of Application Development. In his current role as Assistant Vice President of Business Integration, Bryant is responsible for the Business Integration Department consisting of Business Support, Process Engineering, and Client Implementations.

Ann Anderson, RN, CCM - Senior Director, Clinical Services

Anderson is an RN and Certified Case Manager with more than 33 years experience in medical management, medical claims review, and quality assurance. During her career Anderson has served as Director of Quality and Utilization Review at Peer Review Systems, Quality Assurance Coordinator for Mount Carmel Medical Center, and Medicare Review Coordinator for Nationwide Insurance. Prior to joining American Health, Anderson was Director for the Ethix Corporation, a managed care subsidiary of New York Life, serving 800,000 PPO, EPO and indemnity insureds nationally. Anderson managed several programs for Ethix, including Catastrophic Case Management, Utilization Review, and Medical Claims Review. As Director of Clinical Services, she is responsible for oversight and management of the Case Management and 24/7 Nurse Line departments.

Steve Pream, RN, BSN - Director, Field Operations

Pream brings AHH over 20 years of clinical experience, with 10 years in the managed care arena. He has been an active participant on member arbitration boards and performed work as a case manager, manager of Utilization Management, and home care staff manager. Additionally, he has held various managerial positions in hospital, ambulatory, and office settings. Pream’s extensive medical management background provides him with the skills to coordinate superior onsite operations. As Director of Field Operations, Pream lends his expertise to onsite model customers by teaming with AHH’s Account Executives on strategic planning and service issues. He also manages onsite staff to ensure that both American Health and URAC’s stringent guidelines are followed. His role entails clarifying procedures and consulting on all aspects of AHH’s programs to ensure superior customer service.

Dave Winters - Account Executive

Winters has an extensive background in health benefits administration, specifically in the TPA arena. Formerly with Anthem Benefit Administrators as Sr. Operations Manager as well as Operations Manager with Harrington Benefit Services, Winters brings a diverse perspective in terms of the overall managed care delivery to American Health customers. As Account Executive, Winters' primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. His role includes issue resolution and understanding the client so that AHH’s partnership with customers results in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Marla Knisley - Account Executive

Knisley has over 20 years of experience in the health care industry. She has an extensive customer service background through her work in account management, sales, and managing high profile accounts. Prior to joining American Health, Knisley worked at Fiserv Health and at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Her many years of working with a full spectrum of carriers and TPAs have prepared her to offer superior service to AHH customers. As Account Executive, Knisley’s primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. Her role includes issue resolution and understanding the client so that AHH’s partnership with customers results in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Kathleen Diaz - Account Executive

Diaz has 15 years of experience in the Third Party Administrator industry, with 10 years in the medical management arena. Throughout her career, Diaz has excelled in customer-focused roles, including Marketing Manager, Client Services Manager, and Account Executive. This experience, paired with her issue resolution skills, has enabled Diaz to consistently build enduring customer relationships. As Account Executive, Diaz’s primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. Her role includes issue resolution and understanding the client so that AHH’s partnership with customers results in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.

Rob Dubois - Account Executive

Rob Dubois has 15 years of experience in the health care industry, most recently as Director of Product Development for Lumenos, a leading consumer-directed health plan. At Lumenos, Rob was an integral part of the team that created healthcare’s first transparent marketplace. Prior to his work in consumer driven healthcare, Dubois’ diverse background includes direct clinical practice as a behavioral health/substance abuse therapist, call center management and implementation, and account management. Over the years, Dubois has shown the ability to establish a level of trust with those he works with by engaging them in a manner that pro actively identifies concerns and resolves issues in a timely manner. As Account Executive, Dubois’ primary responsibility is to ensure the voice of the customer is communicated throughout American Health operations. His role includes issue resolution and understanding the client so that AHH’s partnership with customers results in satisfaction levels that exceed expectations.
