Ivan Gilbert, MD • Chairman Emeritus
Dr. Gilbert's professional experiences reflect his entrepreneurial spirit and strong medical background. As a licensed physician with expertise in Hospice and Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Gilbert developed a keen sense for successful business endeavors, which resulted in successfully taking four companies public. In addition to business associations with organizations such as the Ohio Retail Merchants, Columbus Presidents Organization and the Ohio Student Loan Organization, Dr. Gilbert holds board positions with community organizations such at the Ohio State University, Varsity O Club, Columbus Historical Society and American Federation for Aging Research.

Michael Reidelbach • Chairman
Michael has diverse business, marketing and engineering experiences that have been crucial to American Health's continued growth. Michael launched his career in 1969 at Corning Glass Works, where he worked his way through the ranks to eventually become Director of New Product Development. In this capacity he formed a foundation for market research and product development that resulted in successful product launches in the consumer marketplace. Michael's more recent business undertakings include: President of MJR Enterprises Inc., a business consulting firm, President of Progressive Health Management, a medical cost management company and President of Retail Planning Associates, an international retail design and consulting firm. As President of American Health since 1993, Michael has been the driving force leading American Health's position as a leader in the medical management industry.

Paul Lavin • President
Prior to joining American Health in 2008, Paul was a Managing Director at BearingPoint/KPMG Consulting where his focus was on financial services, primarily insurance and investments. His areas of expertise are the tools and processes that support the effective distribution of insurance and investment products and services. Paul was formerly a Senior Vice President at Prudential where he developed Prudential's high-net-worth approach, and an executive at both Alexander & Alexander and Mercer Management Consulting.

Ron Gibb • Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining American Health in January 2010, Ron spent 25 years with Wells Fargo in a variety of senior positions with assignments in New York, Minneapolis, Phoenix and Milwaukee. These positions included financial and strategic planning, operations, sales management, and acquisition integration. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Business Banking and Commercial Real Estate in Milwaukee. This role included developing credit and non-credit relationships with insurance brokers, medical practice groups, health care providers, and self insured private companies. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ron has responsibility for Operations, Business Support, Information Technology, and Human Resources.

Bill Wilkin • Chief Financial Officer
Bill launched his professional career with a 10-year stint as Vice President of Finance and Administration for JE Hanger. Beginning in 1981, he was responsible for treasury, controllership and administrative functions. Included in his array of responsibilities were short- and long-term cash management, capital budgeting, capital structuring, acquisition analysis and banking relationships. Prior to joining the senior management team at American Health, Bill tenured as Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer with BellPointe, Inc, a Westerville, Ohio-based company, where he handled finance accounting and distribution activities. As Vice President of Finance for American Health, Bill is charged with short- and long-range planning and projections.

Jim Williams • Chief Information Officer
Jim has more than 20 years of experience in technology fields, consulting and technical management positions. He previously applied his expertise to the insurance, banking and eCommerce industries, working for nationally-recognized companies such as Nationwide Insurance, Bank One (now JPMorgan Chase) and Sterling Commerce, a subsidiary of SBC Communications, Inc. Jim also held an adjunct faculty position at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, where he instructed students in the Computer Science department. In 2002, he began his tenure at American Health as a consultant, and was instrumental in the building and implementation of American Health's proprietary iSuite software system. He then accepted the position of Director of Application Development in 2003. In his current role as Chief Information Officer, Jim provides leadership and strategic oversight to American Health's information technology needs, overseeing software development and client support services, and maintaining the technical infrastructure at American Health's corporate headquarters and its numerous satellite offices across the country.

Roland Griggs, M.D. • Medical Director
Dr. Griggs has been the Company's full-time Medical Director since 1993, bringing more than 17 years of both clinical and medical management experiences to the American Health team. He believes that the art of medicine and clinical decision-making must remain in the hands of physicians and patients and that quality of care and clinical decisions can be improved with technology, information systems, and population-based clinical data. Dr. Griggs is an active Family Practice Physician and has more than ten years of service in medical managed care environment. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and a Medical Degree and Masters Degree in Hospital and Health Services Administration from The Ohio State University. Dr. Griggs holds a managed care accreditation from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc., and is a licensed physician in numerous states. He has had operational responsibility for integrated health care systems' fiscal performance, and has worked extensively with underserved patient populations, including Native Americans and physically challenged children.

Dennis Bryant • Vice President, Business Support
Dennis has more than 20 years of experience in customer service, technology fields, consulting and technical management positions. He previously applied his expertise to the insurance, manufacturing, global consulting and eCommerce industries, working with nationally-recognized companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Philips Electronics and Atos-Origin. In 2002, he began his tenure at AHH as a consultant, and was instrumental in the building and implementing of American Health's proprietary iSuite software system. In 2005 Dennis accepted the position of Director of Application Development. As Vice President, Business Support, Dennis oversees the business support, facility management, project management and implementation teams.

Richard Hodsdon • Vice President, Sales
Richard has 25 years of health care industry experience and most recently held a position at HHS Health Options as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with additional responsibility for Program Development, Strategic Planning, and corporate metrics. He holds a Bachelor's degree with duel majors in Business and Health Care Administration from Davenport University of Business. As Vice President of Sales for American Health, Richard applies his expertise in the areas of disease management, predictive modeling, and wellness programs to provide customized, integrated healthcare solutions for clients in the north central and southeastern regions of the United States.

Cindy Hom • Vice President, Sales
Cindy's 20-plus years of clinical and managed care experience are of tremendous value to American Health. Her clinical experience began in 1980 and includes Pediatric and Neonatal ICU positions at Boston Children's Hospital and Mass General Hospital. Cindy's medical management career began in 1986 at Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Waltham, Massachusetts. Spanning 10 years at PHCS, she held positions in Medical Management, National Account Management, as UM Implementation Manager, and as National Product Manager for Utilization Management. Working for CORE Inc., a National Disability Management firm, she was instrumental in selling, implementing and managing clients and their Short-term disability programs. Cindy's clients included large national organizations, including Motorola, the Commonwealth of Virginia and Lockheed Martin. In April 2001, she was hired as Vice President of Sales for American Health, and markets American Health's broad range of medical management products and provides health care solutions to clients throughout the United States.

Carrie Pope • Vice President, Sales
Carrie has nearly 15 years of health care industry experience and possesses a wealth of experience in self-funded health plan management. Prior to joining the American Health team, she was with Fiserv Health since 1996, most recently serving as the Vice President of Sales where her primary focus was on providing solutions to the external TPA market. Carrie previously served as the vice president of account management for Avidyn Health, was involved in the formation of Avidyn Health as a Fiserv Health entity, and was responsible for building Avidyn Health's initial Account Management team. Prior to the Avidyn Health launch, she worked as a Fiserv Health product director and managed many vendor relationships including medical management, stoploss and PBM. Carrie has also filled various roles in operations and account management for Benesight, a Fiserv Health TPA.

Jan Marie Reed • Vice President, Client Services
Jan Marie blends her operations, sales, and marketing experience with a passion for health care as she leads American Health's Client Services Department. Prior to joining American Health, Jan Marie was Director of Sales and Marketing for OhioHealth Group. She has held positions at Intracorp, Advance PCS/CareMark, and American Benefit Plan Administrators. Her work with state governments and extensive experience in all facets of self-funding help her guide American Health's increased focus on providing integrated health solutions. As Vice President of Client Services, Jan Marie's focus is always customer first. Her role includes strengthening client relations and communication and ensuring customer satisfaction, and representing the customer in all discussions of product development and improvement.

Ronald Vrlicak • Vice President, Sales
Ron has more than 20 years of experience within the health care industry, many of which found him taking a sales leadership role. Most recently, Ron served as the Vice President of Sales for Fiserv Health – Benefit Planners, located in San Antonio, Texas. He also served as Sales Director for Script Care LTD, and Senior Vice President of Life Re-Insurance Company. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University, where he majored in Education. In his role as Vice President of Sales for American Health, he leverages his sales and health care expertise to expand American Health's market share in the midwest and south central United States, while supporting existing clients in those areas.

Ann Anderson, RN • Senior Director, Clinical Services
Ann is an RN and Certified Case Manager with more than 33 years experience in medical management, medical claims review, and quality assurance. During her career, she has served as Director of Quality and Utilization Review at Peer Review Systems, Quality Assurance Coordinator for Mount Carmel Medical Center, and Medicare Review Coordinator for Nationwide Insurance. Prior to joining American Health, Ann was Director for the Ethix Corporation, a managed care subsidiary of New York Life, serving 800,000 PPO, EPO and indemnity insureds nationally. She managed several programs for Ethix, including Catastrophic Case Management, Utilization Review, and Medical Claims Review. As Director of Clinical Services, Ann is responsible for oversight and management of the Case Management and 24/7 Nurse Line departments.

Donna Todd, RN • Senior Director, Case Management
Donna is a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration. She is also a Certified Case Manager and holds an Advanced Practice Nurse Educator Certificate with a Concentration in Staff Development/Client Education. Donna has over 25 years of health care experience in both the acute care arena and managed care. Prior to joining American Health, Donna worked at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital as Team Lead of Case Management/Social Work Services. While at American Health, Donna has served in a variety of positions, including that of Case Management Supervisor, Case Management Staff Development Coordinator and Interim Director of Disease and Wellness Management. In her current role as Senior Director, Case Management, Donna is responsible for the leadership of Case Management and also serves as the clinical expert within the senior management team. Her expertise is called upon to determine the strategic direction of our products as well as providing information to clients and potential clients.

Diane Bellard, RN • Director, Disease Management and Wellness Services
Diane is a Registered Nurse and also has a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. She has over 30 years of health care experience including the acute care setting, managed care in both utilization management and case management, and the disease management industry. Prior to joining American Health, Diane was a Director of Care Management for Healthways, Inc., where she managed a team of 60 Registered Nurses providing disease management services to some of the organization's large health plan customers. Diane brings a real passion for health and wellness to her role as the operations owner of American Health's Disease and Lifestyle Management Programs.

Anne Klie • Director, Marketing
Anne leads American Health’s marketing and product development efforts. She has nearly 20 years experience in sales, marketing, implementation, and product development for the health care industry. Before joining American Health, Anne was Director, Implementation for Nationwide Better Health where she was responsible for new business implementation for large, key clients. While at Nationwide, Anne served as Director, Process Management, with oversight of the team responsible for enrolling and servicing participants in Lifestyle and Disease Management programs, and as Director, Product Development, where she was responsible for planning and developing strategies to take advantage of opportunities in existing and new markets. In addition, Anne held leadership roles at OhioHealth Group and managed provider contracting at UnitedHealthcare.

Michael has more than 15 years of managed care experience. Prior to joining American Health, he served as National Vice President of Taft-Hartley Sales and Operations for Fiserv Health. Michael’s past also includes work as a benefits administrator, an account executive, and a legal administrator. Prior to launching his career, Michael served in the Marine Corp and earned a Bachelors Degree in English and Journalism from the University of Missouri (Columbia). As Regional Sales Representative, Michael’s thorough understanding of self-funded plans and his background in benefit plan design aid him in collaborating with clients to create customized program solutions.

Kathy has 15 years of experience in the Third Party Administrator industry, with 10 years in the medical management arena. Rob has 15 years of experience in the health care industry, most recently as Director of Product Development for Lumenos, a leading consumer-directed health plan. At Lumenos, Rob was an integral part of the team that created healthcare's first transparent marketplace. Prior to his work in consumer driven healthcare, his diverse background included direct clinical practice as a behavioral health/substance abuse therapist, call center management and implementation, and account management. Over the years, Rob has shown the ability to establish a level of trust with those he works with by engaging them in a manner that proactively identifies concerns and resolves issues in a timely manner. Her many years of working with a full spectrum of carriers and TPAs have prepared her to offer superior service to American Health customers. Kathryn Knight • Client Relations Manager for Population Health Management
Kathryn has over 15 years of comprehensive experience in the health care and customer service oriented industries. Prior to joining American Health, Kathryn served as both Administrator and Vice President of Operations for a privately owned care giving franchise. Her work in healthcare began as a clinical social worker for a variety of large healthcare systems as an advocate and coordinator of medical services. Kathryn's experience brings a unique perspective that complements her ability to successfully develop and implement strategic plans while focusing on individual customer needs. As American Health's Client Relations Manager, Kathryn is readily available to help customers kick off the Population Health Management program, to assist with customizing the program to fit a customer's specific needs, to educate and communicate the program’s many benefits to employees, and to provide ongoing evaluation and continuous support of the program.
