Stop by our booth at the Ohio School Board Association Conference, May 12, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, OhioHelp Your Employees Be Their Healthiest!

On January 1, 2010, Chapter 3306-2 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) went into effect, establishing minimum Best Practice Standards to improve employee health and minimize health care costs. These standards require health care plans to:

  • Provide employee wellness programs
  • Provide employee disease management programs
  • Provide access to institutions and providers offering demonstrated clinically superior health care for complex medical conditions
  • Provide periodic dependent eligibility audits of the health plan’s participants

With these requirements in mind, American Health created the Ohio Best Practices Program, to assist Ohio schools in meeting the Standards. Program elements include Lifestyle Coaching with Health Web Portal, Disease Management Coaching, and Biometric Testing, which are required by the Best Practice Standards, as well as optional Nurse Line or Physician Consultation services to enhance the program.

I appreciate the opportunity to discuss American Health’s Ohio Best Practice Standards solution with you and invite you to learn more by downloading our brochure. You can also contact me by e-mail, phone, or by completing the form below.

Thank you—and I look forward to talking with you soon!
